Samsung's response to the bendgate of Galaxy S6

On Friday, the website Square Trade πραγματοποίησε μια δοκιμή για το περίφημο bendgate (Apple), καταστρέφοντας ένα Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, ένα HTC One M9, μαζί με ένα 6 Plus, που ξεκίνησε το σκάνδαλο.

Sadistic tests have shown that the new Galaxy S6 bends upwards, with the same weight bumping and the iPhone 6 Plus, that is 49 pounds. However, the Galaxy S6 Edge showed lateral cracks (something very natural) during the stress tests.

The tests also showed that 67 kg was enough to completely break the new one of Samsung, while Apple's iPhone 6 Plus proved to be more durable and able to "lift" 81 kg.Samsung Galaxy S6

But we wonder what the meaning of these tests is? Who will try so much to break a device he just bought?

But it seems Samsung took it very seriously and felt obliged to issue an official statement accompanied by a video for the #bendgate case.

The company says:

“This video is not designed to satisfy our sadistic desires, but to show how Samsung mobile devices are designed and tested to withstand any stress. Even in extreme situations ”

The company points out that 49 kg is too much for a smartphone, and that in a back pocket the maximum pressure is around 29 kg. To add that depends on the weight of the person, something that the company "forgot".

Η Samsung in the video reveals that the S6 and S6 Edge devices have been successfully tested to withstand 35 kg pressure.

It is also important to note that Samsung reports that the phone has different front and back resistance, a matter that Square Trade omitted.

The company also claims to promote its Square Trade statement and ask for another video, this time showing the phone's durability on both sides.
