The famous leaker OnLeaks and the Android Authority published a photo of him Samsung Galaxy Note 7 revealing the iris scanner on the front of the device. The front glass cover of the Note 7 shows that the device will indeed come with a curved design similar to that of the Galaxy S7 Edge.
The iris scanner shown in the image will probably be used as an alternative instead scanner fingerprint, which is present in almost every smartphone these days.
Of course those who watch the news technology, you'll know that this isn't Samsung's first device with an iris scanner. Some time ago, Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab Iris in India. The device was made available to government officials and businesses in the country.

The smartphone is expected to run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with a new version of Samsung's TouchWiz. Of course, the wait ends on August 2, when the company is expected to officially present it at an event to be held in New York.
