Samsung with her message on Twitter announced that the next-generation smartphone will be unveiled next month, on February 20, in San Francisco.
This date is a few days before the Mobile World Congress 2019, which is scheduled to take place in Barcelona. The launch is expected to take place on the official website of Samsung.
The Galaxy S10 series, so far, is expected to have at least four models. A lite version that will also be called the Galaxy S10 E, the regular Galaxy S10 Edge, the Galaxy S10 Plus, and the Galaxy S10 5G. Samsung is also expected to announce at the event, a new Galaxy Watch as well as its upcoming smartphone.
These models will differ in features and of course in prices. Logically it will be:
- Samsung Galaxy S10 E: flat screen 5.8” FHD+, dual camera, single front camera, battery 3100mAh and a price of €700
- Samsung Galaxy S10 Edge: 6.1 ”QHD + curved screen, triple camera, single front camera, 3500mAh battery and price at € 950
- Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus: 6.4 ”QHD + curved screen, triple camera, dual front camera, 4000mAh battery and price at € 1250
- Samsung Galaxy S10 5G: curved screen 6.7 ”QHD +, triple or quad camera, dual front camera, 5000mAh battery and price at € 1500
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the S Series and it's set to be a big event. Although the official presentation will take place in February, the phone will likely be launched in March. However, listings and pre-orders can begin immediately after launch.
