SanDisk today unveiled a prototype SDXC card with a capacity of one terabyte that will ensure your camera never runs out of space for photos or video.
For the time being, the company has not yet announced when we will see it on the shelves, or other details.
Western Digital, which is the parent company of SanDisk, dropped the one terabyte SD bomb today at Photokina 2016 with a photo which displays the card. The reveal comes just two years after a 512GB SDXC card was unveiled at the same event.
For now, the card is still at the prototype stage, which means it should not be released soon, or wait for the celebrations to be offered to you by someone or someone.
As far as the price is concerned, since the 512 GB version costs 800 dollars, the 1 TB version will probably be more expensive.
