Like you we mentioned yesterday, an error causes Skype to terminate applications in all versions of the application. Apparently Microsoft responded immediately and today released the Skype 7.5 update that fixes the bug.
Skype update 7.5.73.102 does not bring any other change in addition to the aforementioned to deal with the specific error, so if someone sent you the text well you will update as soon as possible.
Please note that the bug was detected some time ago in Skype, and causes the application to terminate whenever the user or contact type the text "http: //:" in a chat window.
The bug only affected those three versions of Skype, and Mac OS X and Linux users were told to be in safe side, as it reproduces the error on these platforms does not crash the Skype client.
Skype updates for all other platforms are expected to be released soon.
