Along with everything else problems that have appeared while updating Windows to Windows 8.1, it turns out that the new operating system released by the Microsoft last week has also caused problems in the service Skype or Whatsapp.
There are several posts in Microsoft Support Forum which state that Skype does not work after installing them Windows 8.1 for reasons that have not yet been determined.
“I upgraded my system to Windows 8.1 from Windows 8 yesterday. Since then I can't connect to Skype. When Skype tries to connect, the system returns to the home screen icons,” reports one of those who experienced it problem.
The Skype development team is aware of the issue. But until Microsoft issues an update that fixes the problem uninstall and reinstall it application Skype and it will work normally.
