Some of you will be wondering where we are going, seeing technology invading our lives. Now you order food online, pay the bills online, shop online, see how many stamps you have online, renew your unemployment card online and generally do everything online…
Windows 10 has become "smart" by putting Cortana digital assistant to monitor our every move. In the near future we expect to see the transformation of our home into "smart" of course to make our lives easier…
Let's go see:
In the smart home we will receive home notifications on mobile, that the lawn is watered, the “robot” vacuum cleaner has cleaned the floor and is charging on its base, the children are home from school and playing in their room and much more… because the smart home will be connected to the internet for remote control and it will receive data from cameras and sensors that will be installed.
For example, there will be a report on the mobile that the washing machine has finished washing and is now drying clothes that will be ready in 45 minutes, and we are already seeing that new smart washing machines have built-in network cards with support remote control via Wi-Fi, touch screens and various sensors.
It will come notice that the house alarm battery needs changing and the TV will turn off when it detects that the viewer has fallen asleep.
We are now heading to a world where in the future the toilet, as scientists claim, will become "smart" by analyzing urine and will warn of possible future problems health..
This all sounds good but I'm sure we will look forward to seeing if this smart home will respect our privacy at the same time or if all this will be just the "Expansion" of Big Brother as technologists claim that to be a smart home should monitor our every move…
