Today Sony announced that the new one Morpheus VR headset will be released at the beginning of 2016.
VR (Virtual Reality) device has been shown since last year at GDC (Game Developers Conference) and because, as we learned earlier today, Sony needs more time, it announced at this year's GDC that it will be released in the first half of 2016.
The device will feature a 1920×1080 RGB OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Its 5.7-inch screen will also feature a 100-degree field of view. Now, it will use nine LEDs for positioning. Sony also said the device has extremely low latency, which is the key for a flawless virtual reality experience.
A feature that's nice is the ability to push the headset from your face to peek into the real world without having to completely remove the headset.
