The Japanese Sony Corp called the owners of the new laptop models Vaio Fit 11A to stop their use "immediately" due to the risk of overheating batterys.
The company says in the release that it has shipped 25.905 Vaio Fit 11As to 52 countries since their launch in February. Three computers have so far caught fire due to overheating of their battery, which is manufactured by Panasonic Corp.
