Polish scientists developed a Shear-Thickening Fluid (STF) bulletproof vest, which cured in impact, protecting the body from spheres.
The liquid is placed in special bags that are worn inside the vest to protect the body while allowing movement comfort.
When the vest is hit by a bullet, the liquid absorbs the force released and prevents any damage to his organs body.
The idea behind the development of the bulletproof vest is based on the use of a non-Newtonian fluid. These liquids behave in an extraordinary way as they change their flow depending on the temperaturewineα ή την πίεση.
Scientists used a non-Newtonian fluid, which is called STF (Shear-Thickening Fluid). The exact ones components of the STF have not been announced by the scientists, probably because the company Moratex, which has taken over the management of the Project, does not agree.
