A college student by University of Harvard has violated Super Supercomputer (with 14.000 cores) of Ivy League to use it for Dogecoins mining.
According to The Harvard Crimson, a student was punished with a ban on access to all computer research laboratories and university systems when it was discovered that he had programmed the Odyssey supercomputer to do Dogecoins mining.
The Odyssey supercomputer has Intel Xeon processors and is ranked among the top supercomputers 500. The system has 14.000 cores and belongs to Harvard's Research Computing office as a high-performance cluster with Linux for researchers.
