An 14-old Maine student was burned when the iPhone 5C in her pocket got fire, as reported by Portland Press Herald.
"Smoke is starting to envelop the student," said Jeff Rodman, its Principal schooluh.”
The girl was forced to take off her pants, while her iPhone was still "smoldering."
The girl, the name which was not published at her mother's request, she suffered second-degree burns. The incident happened on Friday. The unfortunate girl was burned on her leg and back, and was immediately taken to hospital.
Apple has not yet made any statements about the unfortunate incident.
