Microsoft is expected to present the next generation of Surface Book in the coming months. A teaser published by the company itself Instagram a few hours ago seems to be the first confirmation that we are approaching the moment of the official announcement.
While Redmond hasn't said much about the next-generation Surface Book to date, the photo you see below appears to be the first evidence that Microsoft is preparing a new notebook computer with an improved hinge between the keyboard and the screen, to address the criticisms of the first model.
Microsoft launched the Surface book in October 2015, offering characteristics such as a detachable keyboard and a pen for easy drawing and writing. In order to make it easier to convert from a tablet to a laptop and vice versa, Microsoft opted for a strange hinge design, which was met with mixed reactions from customers.
While there were buyers who liked it, there were others who criticized the design, noting that it not only looked ugly but also that it practically allowed dust to settle easily between the screen and the keyboard.
So today Microsoft gave the first teaser of the Surface Book 2, which shows that the company has tackled the issue with thecase of a new joint.
The image was posted on Instagram with no other details, and is captioned “The key for success” or “Your key to success.” Of course, it doesn't look like any other previous Surface model, so many believe it depicts the second generation Surface Book, which is expected to be released in October 2016 (no official announcement yet).
