The concept is called SurroundWeb and could be used in the home of the future. For example, the user is in the kitchen and reads directly on his table the recipe he is interested in or places a beer on the living room table and the calories appear next to it.
Microsoft emphasizes that the information recorded by the cameras from home are not sent back to websites, thus ensuring privacy and security. Pretty interesting, but it will probably be a few years before we see something like this in action.
