The Syrian Electronic Army hack activist group claims to have breached its systems United States Central Command (CENTCOM). The attack appears to come in response to the US's intention to engage in one electronic war against Syria.
"Operation targeting CENTCOM are now in motion due to Obama's decision to attack Syria with electronic warfare"
So far, hackers have posted a screenshot showing that they have gained access to its servers Army Knowledge Online (AKO). OR AKO provides intelligence services to the Army and the Department of Defense. It also provides services from a classified and an unrated network.
The image posted by hakers on Twitter shows that they have obtained data on the activities of the Ministry of Defense, in particular from the operations of the Air Force.
Its representatives CENTCOM they told Tampa Tribune ότι οι ισχυρισμοί των hackers είναι "ψευδείς."
Bob Gourley, former director of the Defense Intelligence Service (DIA) and founder of Crucial Point LLC, told the Tampa Tribune that the files displayed in the screenshot posted by the hackers did not appear to contain any relevant information.
Gourley reported that if SEA's claims are true they seem to have access from a non-classified network rather than SIPRNet, the network used by the Ministry of Defense and the Foreign Office for the transmission of classified information.
