The Japanese company Fujitsu announced that it had developed technology capable of improving speed transportof data up to ten times.
The new technology uses unnecessary information and data compression techniques to reduce the amount of information. In this way, their transmission is faster.
Practically, priority is given to data that occur most frequently within a network. Thus, on the one hand, a reduced data size is transferred, and on the other hand, the appearance of duplicate files is prevented at a rate of up to 80%.
With regard to the data compression method, the process involves searching for repeatable patterns to get a faster compression of the transferred files.
More details on the technology are expected to be announced on May 15 and 16 at Tokio, on a related Fujitsu forum. As announced, its commercial availability technology planned in 2014.
