Asking for the absolute security of his or her personal data on the internet is like asking that he never be infected by a ... disease.
Seventy years and extensive scientific research. have shown that all systems (living organisms and machines) are at the same time closed (they have some of their own functions) and open (in the external interference of the environment).
This inviolable law, according to scientists, is making it impossible to fully safeguard and protect a system from all sorts of external dangers.
The same, in general, was also said during the recent "Technology and Communications Specialists Conference", held in Cologne (February 10 -14), on internet safety.
As stated at the Conference, Internet users today are more aware and informed than in the past. Many are suspicious when they receive "spam" messages, or know what "viruses" are and how to avoid them. But that does not mean anything at all: as Ben Williams of the NCC Group points out, with the advent of internet technology, hacking methods are evolving. He himself, in order to increase the security of the internet, enters the position of hackers, trying to imitate them.
In particular, Deutsche Welle said, saying:
“As a hacker, I should know which one program is installed on each server and what is its email address... This way, by sending fake emails to random addresses, I can hack into a foreign internal mail server and extract information. The responses I get from the randomly selected e-mail addresses reveal a lot of information about the electronic identity of the affected computers... I can thus learn addresses of firewalls, filters used in e-mails, and so on. I can understand which ones in particular products πρόκειται καθώς και ποια έκδοση είναι εγκατεστημένη. Κάνοντας κλικ εκεί, ένας χάκερ αποκτά πληροφορίες για τα φίλτρα που χρησιμοποιεί ο εκάστοτε διακομιστής».
