Nifty's developers, after their first failed attempt to build a charger belt, teamed up with a US-based group to create a second-generation product called Ion Belt.
The original product is a belt with batteries that can be filled with energy through a charger from a simple household outlet. At the edge of the belt there is a slot that can accept the cable charging your smartphone.
To reduce costs, a different type of battery has been used in relation to their first attempt. The Ion Belt will be available for backers at Kickstarter for $89 and for the rest it is expected to sell for around $130. It is scheduled to be released in June 2016.
For some users that way work forces them to carry a bulky, powerful battery in their bag, the belt idea sounds appealing.
They are currently trying to collect $ 50.000 on Kickstarter.
