Despite the record he held at the start of the service in the first few weeks, the engagement of Meta's registered Threads app users continues to plummet.
According to Similarweb, logins to the app from registered users fell 79% from a high of 2,3 million active users in early July to 576.000 on August 7.

In addition to users jumping ship every day, major US companies such as fast food chain Wendy's, clothing store Anthropologie and Rare Beauty, a makeup line, have all reduced the number of posts they post on the Threads service, reports the Adweek.
On its busiest day, Threads' number of users was less than half that of Twitter, according to figures from Similarweb.
Twitter has an average of more than 100 million daily active users.
