Bad news for all Tormail users. The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a full copy of a Tormail server and uses it in its investigations.
According to court documents that appeared recently, the FBI has cloned the entire e-mail service database while investigating the case Freedom Hosting.

New items revealed by Wired state that the said archives they are now being used in investigations to identify cybercriminals.
So far it is unknown how many users or how many data of the TorMail network, is in the hands of the FBI, but Wired reports that the Feds know everything.
As reported on the TorMail website, managers refused to deliver information to the FBI, even when they were presented to them by a court order. But if all of the above is true, cloning the server, those who use the service can forget about anonymity.
