Since its first presentation TrackingPoint at CES 2013, a lot changed at Austin, the Linux-powered weapons company. The company collectively calls them “Precision Guided Firearms,” or PGFs. But to understand what TrackingPoint guns can do, a photojournalist o Steven Michael Η τεχνολογία computers in the hands of soldiers is nothing new. But this time it acquired new products.
The big heavy weapons presented by the company at CES 2013 appear to be just the beginning. Last month, journalists from Arstechnica visited Austin at Liberty Hill to see the new TrackingPoint, TP AR 556 and TP AR 762. Unlike the heavy-duty XS-series weapons series introduced at CES 2013, the new PGFs are very handy semi-automatic weapons.
Weapons have ARM processors, lasers, and Wi-Fi support. Their price so far is quite dense, but they certainly have not gone unnoticed by the governments.
Chief Executive Officer Jason Schauble said:
Semi-automatic ARs come from completely different suppliers than we've been used to, and the result is that they can juggle.
