The application Transmission, is one of the most popular BitTorrent client for OS X and Linux operating systems. The news is that the traditional UNIX application will be released for Windows after almost a decade since its first release.
Η open-source file sharing app, is developed by volunteers, doesn't serve ads, boasts a small footprint (about 25MB for Windows), supports encryption, a web interface so you can view your downloads remotely through your browser, and gives the ability to set different speed limits on individual torrents.

Mike Gelfand, developer at TorrentFreak, told TorrentFreak that Windows Transmission has the same set of features as the original, and that it is likely to gain more functionality before it is officially announced.
