8,5% of Twitter accounts are bots

Bad news for Twitter. The popular social network admitted today that many of its users are bots. What does this mean; Twitter has essentially admitted that there are many automated bot accounts that simply serve to retweet content related to a particular , or simply parrot customer service slogans.
