Twitter awaits to win by the Moments feature that barely counts life two weeks and which will display the first advertising this weekend.
Advertisers will be able to get their own Moments channel for 24 hours, where they can post and manage its content (including images and videos) as they see fit. The first is expected to be a joint venture of MGM, the Warner Bros and New Line Cinema, who are teaming up to promote the movie Creed, which is another movie with Stalone as Rocky Balboa and not a documentary about a Christian rock band!!.
Of course this decision is charged to the CEO of Twitter Mr. Jack Dorsey and is part of a broader effort to make Twitter more profitable. Mr Dorsey also made headlines on Thursday night when has announced that it will share personal shares of Twitter worth $ 200 million to his company's employees, possibly to soften the hitting of the 8% redundancy of the Twitter workforce.
Also, Matt Derella, vice president of Twitter's revenue department in North America, said Bloomberg Business that Twitter is planning to have an advertising mment every day.
