From Thursday, April 11, the operating system Ubuntu 19.04 Disco Dingo passed in the last stage of development, Final Freeze.
The Final Freeze stage is the last step in the development cycle of Ubuntu Linux, which means that from now on, only bugs related to the ISO image or operating system installers will be fixed.
Of course this also means that Release Candidate (RC) ISO will soon be available for testing.
The final version of the Ubuntu 19.04 Disco Dingo operating system is expected to be released next Thursday, April 18. It will run on the latest Linux 5.0 kernel and will feature the GNOME 3.32 desktop environment as a prochoice.
It will also update all the packages and applications it uses such as: LibreOffice 6.2.2, Mozilla Firefox 66.0, GCC 8.3, Glibc 2.29, Python 3.7.2, Boost 1.67, 1.31, 5.0, 2.5.3, Ruby 7.2, PHP 15. 11, OpenJDK 3.1, QEMU 5.28.1, Perl 1.10.4, Golang XNUMX, and more that will be revealed on the release day.
