Canonical has released the first beta version of the upcoming operating system Ubuntu 19.10 Eoan Ermine, to be released later this autumn.
The development of Ubuntu 19.10 (Eoan Ermine) began in end of April with the toolchain upgrading shortly after the release of the Disco Dingo 19.04 (Disco Dingo) operating system on 23 April. Now, five months later, the first beta is available for testing.
Ubuntu 19.10 continues to develop from Alpha builds were released earlier so beta versions are now available for community testing before the official release. Beta versions of Ubuntu are usually stable enough for day-to-day use.
The Eoman Ermine release brings new features and new GNU/Linux technologies, such as the new Linux kernel 5.2, the GNOME 3.34 desktop environment, LibreOffice 6.3 software, program tourς Mozilla Firefox 69 and more.
