Microsoft is attempting to comply with the user requirements of its new release Windows 8.1.
On 8 April 2014 launches its second major attempt to end the negative reviews for Windows 8, with the release of Windows 8.1 Update. With Update, it's also clear that Microsoft is trying to make a link between the two worlds - the keyboard and the mouse on the desktop on the one hand, and the touch screens on the Start screen, on the other.
See the changes that Windows 8.1 Update brings:
- On the Start screen, at the top right the Power and Search options appear. Thus, Microsoft responds to the difficulty users had in locating them. Until now, searching from everywhere is done by literally typing blindly. THE choice to turn off the computer was hidden in the options that appear by moving the cursor to the right part of the screen.

- On the Desktop Workstation Bar, at taskbar, will be "pinned" and app from the Windows Store, without the user having to go to the Start screen.
- When using mouse, the taskbar will be visible from anywhere with it Move the cursor to the bottom of the screen.

The Update will be available for free to Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1 users through the mechanism Windows Update from Tuesday, April 8. The majority will receive the update automatically, and Windows 8 users should look for it in the Windows Store on the same day.
