Google added recently a new tool in its portfolio, called uProxy. It is a plugin that comes to help people who come from countries where the access on the Internet is censored.
Google announced uProxy on Monday at the Google Ideas Summit in New York, but the new tool is not yet ready, as the Mashable.
"The reason it is not available at the moment is that we do not want to start using it before we are sure it is safe and secure," said the head of Google Ideas.
uProxy is configured to work as an extension of Chrome and Firefox browsers, two of the most used prolettertouring the world. It will work like a personalized VPN (Virtual Private Network).
