VLC 2.2.4: H application VLC was, is, and will continue to be the best program media player for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X, because there isn't a file format it doesn't support. So every update of the application is very welcome by the users.
VideoLAN development team announced new VLC 2.2.4 update for all supported platforms desktop.
This version mostly fixes misc issues introduced to users with the latest version. It's worth noting that VLC version 2.2.4 comes with a special fix for Windows XP systems, so if you're still using the old OS, you'll be happy to know that it finally fixes an issue that existed with DirectDraw video input.
Meanwhile, VideoLAN developers are also developing a version of the media player for Windows 10 systems and will probably be released in the next few weeks.
The development team has already begun building an app for smartphones, and VideoLAN says the app could be released not only on PCs and smartphones, but also on the Xbox One as a universal app.
