The modern version of the VLC application for Windows 8 has yet to find its way to the Windows Store, but according to the developers, it will be released on Monday.
Twitter's VideoLAN account, quoted with a short tweet:
"We plan to launch the app in the Windows Store on Monday."
This means that the developers finally managed to fix all the bugs and issues that prevented the application from being made available from the Windows Store.
VLC for the Windows 8.1 είναι ο καρπός μιας καμπάνιας συλλογής κεφαλαίων μέσω του Kickstarter που πραγματοποιήθηκε στα τέλη του 2012, δυο μήνες μετά την κυκλοφορία των Windows 8 από την Microsoft.
At the time VideoLAN had promised to release the app in a few months, but due to some issues they encountered after submitting the app to the Windows Store, the company had no other choice from delaying traffic.
