Ο hacker made false publications that reported the crash of US presidential aircraft Air Force One. The publication, which came after the news of the downing of the Malaysian Airlines plane on Thursday, upset many.

A second fake news was later published with the alleged statements by Vice President Joe Biden who wanted to inform the nation of the crash.
The Wall Street Journal eventually deleted the posts and informed its readers that it had been "violated" by an unknown hacker.

The hack is reminiscent of a similar incident that took place in April 2013, when the accountThe Associated Press's Twitter account was hacked by the Syrian Electronic Army group. The tweet claimed that the US President was injured after two explosions at the White House. Last December, the Washington Post was also hacked, compromising employee usernames, passwords accessand other personal information.
