WebRTC: The Mozilla Foundation is preparing surprises. It plans to provide a new feature that will allow free βιντεοκλήσεις, ή κλήσεις ήχου μεταξύ των χρηστών του web browser Firefox, thus ending any need for third-party services or plugins.
The Mozilla Foundation will soon release a new experimental version of it Firefox Nightly, which will include a peer-to-peer open source communication protocol called WebRTC and allows Real-Time Communications (RTC) or Greek real-time communication between two web browsers through a simple Javascript API.
WebRTC is not a plugin for program browser but runs directly through the browser sandbox. It does not require a separate installation or any separate process to run and will receive its updates along with browser updates.
“It's not a plugin, you won't download it. If you have a browser, a camera and a microphone, you will be able to make audio calls and video to anyone else using the same browser," says a Mozilla blog post.
