Whatever we live in the age of technology, it is sometimes difficult even for the authorities to keep up with its demands. For the past eight years, the Central Vigilance Commission, an India-based body investigating police corruption, has accumulated hundreds of complaints about Delhi police over its lost password.
According to The Indian Express, the agency forwarded the allegations to the Delhi police station, but nothing has been done for at least eight years.
None of the corruption complaints have been evaluated by the police department because they do not know the code accessof the computer!!!. 667 complaints are pending, some of which date back to 2006.
Finally, the Central Vigilance Committee asked the department for a report on the big one delay and found that no one there knew how to access the system of complaints.
Finally, in January, two senior officers received the appropriate training on how the system works and will work to deal with pending complaints.
A police official said the incident was due to a "technical problem" and promised that all public complaints would be dealt with. However, it seems more like a case of complete helplessness and indifference.
