Wikipedia has launched a new feature called WikiVIP. The company wants to add the voices of celebrities and other well-known people to its online encyclopedia.
Considering that the encyclopedia can handle files sound for its platform, two its editors began approaching celebrities and asking for a short audio clip of their voices.
The Wikipedia Voice Intro project aims to build a public and free to use collection of famous people's voices. The first to add a sample of his voice was Stephen Fry, the popular English actor and director.
