It is known that the Microsoft is doing everything it can to achieve the goal of 1 billion devices with Windows 10 within two years of the release of the operating system.
According to a source inside WinBeta the latest figures (which have yet to be confirmed by Microsoft) show that more than 200 million devices are running the new functional system Microsoft Windows 10 until the end of December 2015.
The jump of the last two months, if true, will signalthat, approximately 40 million devices have either been upgraded or new devices have been purchased with Windows 10 installed.
With the new numbers and with Microsoft's intentions to push Windows 10 more aggressively in the coming months especially for those who still have Windows 7 and Windows 8.1, the company could reach its goal of one billion devices 20 months from now, or 25 months after Windows 10 launches.
Let's mention again that the new data has not yet been confirmed by Microsoft, but if it is true, Microsoft seems to be on the right track to catch up with its ambitious goal.
