We have already mentioned that Microsoft έχει αλλάξει τον τρόπο που διαθέτει τις ενημερώσεις των Windows 10. Οι ενημερώσεις είναι πλέον υποχρεωτικές για τους οικιακούς users. But today, more details were announced that the pirates probably won't like at all.
Η by clicking here Myce.com published a set of terms that apply to Windows Update. The terms specifically state that updates Microsoft may release at some point in the future could prevent pirated games and disable the use of unapproved hardware.
In particular, the new terms of service explain that Microsoft could "release software updates or configuration changes that prevent access to Services, play pirated games, or use unauthorized peripheral hardware."
While it is quite clear what the term "pirate games" means, it is not so obvious what the company refers to as "unauthorized material on peripherals."
But it might well mean that Microsoft will be able to stop Windows 10 using non-approved Xbox controllers for example.
As for pirated games, Microsoft is likely to turn to its own titles, but by opening such a door we can also see partnerships with other companies.
Obviously, the best way to avoid all of this is to disable Windows Update completely, or at least the choice of updates that could bring such changes to your system.
And while Windows 10 Home is considered impossible, iGuRu.gr has a way to do it.
