But today, more details were announced that the pirates probably won't like at all.
Η by clicking here Myce.com published a set of terms that apply to Windows Update. The terms they explicitly state that updates Microsoft may release at some point in the future could prevent piracy gameand disable the use of unauthorized material.
In particular, the new terms of service explain that Microsoft could "release software updates or configuration changes that prevent access to Services, play pirated games, or use unauthorized peripheral hardware."
While it is quite clear what the term "pirate games" means, it is not so obvious what the company refers to as "unauthorized material on peripherals."
But it might well mean that Microsoft will be able to stop Windows 10 using non-approved Xbox controllers for example.
As for pirated games, Microsoft is likely to turn to its own titles, but by opening such a door we can also see partnerships with other companies.
Obviously, the best way to avoid all of this is to disable Windows Update completely or at least to select the updates that could make such changes to your system.
And while in Windows 10 Home, it is considered impossible, the iGuRu.gr has a way of doing it.
