Windows 10: A new series of tests conducted by AV-TEST security experts gives us a closer look at the existing antivirus options on the market.
At March - April 2019 survey five different well-known security products emerged: Bitdefender, F-Secure, Kaspersky Lab, McAfee and Symantec.
All of these security applications received 18 points, out of 6 points in each of the three test categories: protection, performance, and usability.
On the other hand, there are 6 security products that received a total of 17,5 points, losing just 0,5 points in one of the three test categories. These applications belong to the companies AhnLab, Avast, AVG, Avira, Microsoft and VIPRE Security.
The lowest score this time is the PC Pitstop PC Matic application, which received just 15,5 points for protection and 6 points for performance and usability.
To mention a few words about Microsoft's Windows Defender that impressed once again after it managed to get 17,5 points in total, with 6 points in protection, 5,5 in performance and 6 points for usability.
Windows Defender comes as a native security solution with the Windows 10 operating system and is pre-installed on all versions of the operating system.
