This update KB4549951 slows down networking. Outlook 365 on hosted Exchange took several minutes to load and froze. The Distant One surface task was showing a black screen on the destination computers. This update also causes the VM software to freeze. Everything continued to work normally after uninstalling and deferring updates for 30 days.
Some people are also reporting that this particular update deletes files. For those affected, their files were moved or deleted after the update. Users are reporting that after installing the update, the settings they disappeared, and their personal files were moved to the Recycle Bin or simply deleted all together.
