Windows 10 tomorrow the first Patch Tuesday of 2020

Windows 10 users, get ready. Microsoft will release the first batch of cumulative updates for Windows 10 tomorrow as part of its Ratch Tuesday January.

Like every month, Microsoft uses the established Patch Tuesday to fix vulnerabilities in its software. Of course as you already know, from security updates. Patch Tuesday also includes cumulative updates.

Windows 10

All versions of Windows 10 will install cumulative updates tomorrow, including the latest November 2019 Update ( 1909). Η συγκεκριμένη έκδοση κυκλοφόρησε στα τέλη του 2019, και έτσι το Windows 10 November 2019 Update εξακολουθεί να διατίθεται σε συσκευές από την Microsoft σταδιακά. Οι χρήστες μπορούν να εγκαταστήσουν την τελευταία ενημερωμένη έκδοση των Windows 10 με αυτόματο τρόπο από το , or traditionally from an ISO image released by Microsoft.

However, it is worth noting that the versions of Windows 10 Home and Pro only receive cumulative updates if they are running version 1809 (October 2018 Update) and some newer version (versions 1903 and 1909). Previous versions are only updated if they are SKU Enterprise or Education or if they use an LTSC package for extended updates.

Updates that are released every Patch Tuesday are recommended to be installed immediately, as they fix serious security holes in system.

The main concern, on the other hand, is that cumulative updates usually cause serious problems after installation. So after installations of cumulative updates have been observed damaged Windows 10 features, sucks network connectivity or too much in applications. With all that has happened in the past, it would be good to wait until the reliability of the information is established.

Front cliff and back stream.

As usual, we will monitor these updates and report any issues that may occur during or after their installation.
