Microsoft continues to develop Windows 10, and part of the company's efforts seems to be a new form of quality updates (quality updates) that will be introduced with the release of Redstone 5 (in October 2018).
In Windows 10, Microsoft released cumulative updates, which include all previously released fixes in a single packet. "In addition, devices running the next major update of Windows 10 (Redstone 5) will be 40% more efficient during the update, as there will be no background calculations required to receive explicit updates."
New updates will be packaged as .CAB files but will also be offered as an Update Standalone Installer (.MSU) from the Microsoft Update Catalog.
