Windows 10 is expected to be released in the second half of 2015, while Technical Preview builds are already available for those who want to test the new operating system.
Information leaked through Windows 10 build 10036 and posted on the MDL forum reveals that the Microsoft
First of all, Microsoft will continue to offer the traditional Core and Professional editions of Windows 10, with the latter version including Media Center. Enterprise and Embedded SKUs will continue to be released. The Windows 10 with Bing version appears as “Connected” according to the new ones information leaked.
Existing Windows 8.1 with Bing SKUs have also been renamed “Connected,” so Microsoft is likely to continue offering a Bing-branded version of Windows 10. Windows 8.1 with Bing is being offered to manufacturers at a lower price or even for free, which could be a sign that the company it will probably follow the same path in Windows 10.
In the leaked screeshoot, they appear two SKUs. The first is the Education SKU, which is most likely a special edition of Windows 10 specifically targeted at the education sector and will come at a special price.
The second SKU is named after the code "S", rather than the earlier "N" versions available for Windows 8.1. The "N" versions have exactly the same features, but they allow you to choose your default media player as well as the software for working with media files. These versions are designed for Europe.
Microsoft has not yet confirmed these versions for Window 10, and this is likely to happen only when the operating system reaches a more advanced stage of development.
