Windows 11 insiders are already running the first Android apps

Microsoft allows Windows 11 insiders to test Android applications on their system. A preview version of Windows Subsystem for Android, released for Windows 11 insiders today, gives access to apps from the Amazon Appstore.

Microsoft has partnered with Amazon to develop 50 applications for Windows Insiders so they can test them in Windows 11. They include games for such as Lords Mobile, June's Journey and Coin Master. There are also reading apps like Kindle and kids apps like Lego Duplo World or Khan Academy Kids.

The fifty apps are a small selection of the more than 3 million apps available on Google currently and more than 600.000 in the Amazon Appstore.
