Microsoft allows Windows 11 insiders to test Android applications on their system. A preview version of Windows Subsystem for Android, released for Windows 11 insiders today, gives access to apps from the Amazon Appstore.

Android applications can run in parallel with other Windows applications, will appear in the taskbar, and you can pin them to the Start menu or taskbar.
"You can view Android app notifications in Action Center or share your clipboard from a Windows application to your Android application." he says the Android integration team.
"We have developed the experience based on accessibility. "Many Windows accessibility settings apply to Android applications, and we're working with Amazon to offer more enhancements."
Microsoft has partnered with Amazon to develop 50 applications for Windows Insiders so they can test them in Windows 11. They include games for cell phones such as Lords Mobile, June's Journey and Coin Master. There are also reading apps like Kindle and kids apps like Lego Duplo World or Khan Academy Kids.
The fifty apps are a small selection of the more than 3 million apps available on Google Play Store currently and more than 600.000 in the Amazon Appstore.
