Η Microsoft he said that its customers can run Windows 11 as a preview on Azure Virtual Desktop. Azure Virtual Desktop allows users to run virtual Windows in the cloud, allowing them to connect to them from almost anywhere.
Simply put, you can access your computer files and applications remotely, not just from the office.
Microsoft reports some performance improvements, the better safety and usability, along with new exclusive features such as support multi-session, Trusted Launch using TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot from within the VM.

The company also said that to get the visual enhancements of Windows 11, such as rounded corners and rich animations, the VM setup should include a GPU that supports them.
There are currently three preview packages:
- Windows 11 Enterprise,
- Windows 11 Enterprise multi-session,
- Windows 11 Enterprise multi-session + Microsoft 365 Apps.
Any of the above requires you to be registered with Windows Insider to access or purchase any of the packages from Azure Marketplace.
