Windows 7 increase in adoption rate by 10 users

Windows 7 vs Windows 10: Data published by NetMarketShare for the month of November 2017 shows that the use of Windows 10 is increasing worldwide, but for the , users of Microsoft's operating system seem to prefer yet another version of Windows.

Valve revealed last month that it was using Windows 7 on Steam recorded an increase of 6,67% since October and in total held a share of 69,89%.

This means that nearly 7 out of 10 PCs used as Steam consoles are running Windows 7 as Microsoft pushes for upgrades to Windows 10. The 32-bit version of Windows 7 adds an additional 1,41% to the overall share.Windows 7

For Windows 10, Valve reveals that 23,65% of users use it, down 4,97% from the previous month, while the same 32-bit version dropped 0,08% to 0,29% .

Many people think that the current trends observed by Steam are not surprising, because more and more users are switching to Windows 7, which also contributes to the decline in the share of Windows 10.

According to Steam it is estimated that Windows 7 continues to be the dominant operating system desktops in China given the country's high piracy rate and the massive popularity of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds keeping many people away from Windows 10.

Piracy, however, should not be a barrier for users who want to upgrade to Windows 10, as there are already several broken versions of the operating system if you know where to look.

Whatever the cause of the decline of Windows 10, this is not good news for Microsoft, which is trying its best to get users of older operating systems to upgrade to the latest system.
