As everything shows the Microsoft είναι στη διαδικασία ανάπτυξης της δεύτερης ενημερωμένης version(Update 2) of the Windows 8.1 operating system. THE company continues its efforts to improve its modern platform and according to some new rumors, Redmond is ready to move to Update 2 RTM.
The news comes through Russian teams Wzor, which has leaked quite a few Windows so far. The Wzor team has reportedly said that Windows 8.1 Update 2 is on track and will reach the RTM version this week, although the company has not announced anything on the matter.
"At the moment I can not give an exact date of signing of RTM. Despite the fact that next week (June 23-27) a very important event is planned inside Microsoft. "I'm not sure what will happen, but we will probably have the first build RTM-Escrow sign off," Wzor said in Russian.
Terry Myerson, head of Microsoft's operating system division, said at BUILD 2014 that Redmond is working to bring some pretty big changes to its modern platform, that it plans to add not only a Start menu, but also options to run Metro apps in their own dedicated windows right on desktop.
Of course, we've also read rumors from sources close to the development process that say the return of the Start menu may be delayed until the beginning of 2015 when the company released Windows 9. Naturally, nothing has been officially confirmed so far.
