WordPress.org today announced the release of the popular WordPress application in version 3.8, which comes with a completely new modern design. The company calls the new version "the most beautiful update" that has been made. You can download the new version now from WordPress.org Download (6.1MB).
Version 3.8 was baptized "ParkerIn honor of the American saxophonist and composer Charlie Parker and brings a new design to the manager control panel.
The new features are as follows:
- Modern aesthetics: The new WordPress has a simple and stylish design that embraces clarity and simplicity.
- Net Font: The Open Sans font offers a simple and user-friendly text.
- Sophisticated contrast: the new design offers ease of reading and navigation.
- High definition and with a large speed: Το WordPress είναι πιο ευδιάκριτο από ποτέ με νέα icons which change according to the scale of your screen. Loading pages became much faster.
- Admin Panel Color Combinations: New WordPress and now includes eight new ones colors for the admin panel.
- Sophisticated theme management: The new topic screen lets you check your topics at a glance. Click to add more information, and use the navigation arrows on your keyboard to browse through themes.
- Smoother experience widget: The widgets screen has been updated.
