Xiaomi, a Chinese company, is preparing to release a mid-range Android smartphone, Redmi 3 on January 12.
However, Xiaomi officially unveiled the Redmi 3 today and announced that the smartphone will "walk" first on the shelves of Chinese stores on January 12.
So the Chinese first will be able to acquire the mobile, for 700 yuan (about 105 dollars) in three colors Gold, classic gold, silver, and dark gray.
Xiaomi has not announced anything about its global availability devices, but as usual the company will make it available in the other markets after a few months.
Apart from the low price, the main part of the Redmi 3 that will make the device unobstructed is the 4.100 mAh battery with fast charging technology.
It is also worth noting that the Xiaomi Redmi 3 will launch with MIUI 7 based on the Android operating system Lollipop.
On the back, the Redmi 3 sports a 13-megapixel camera that features phase-detection autofocus, LED flash, and video recording, while on the front, there's a secondary camera of 5-megapixels.
Xiaomi's mid-range device is equipped with a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor, clocked at 1.5GHz, combined with a processingAdreno 405 graphics and 2GB RAM.
