Xiaomi has just announced the version of the Redmi Note 7 that will come with a 40 megapixel camera and will cost around 130 euros.
Xiaomi president Lin Bin had announced the arrival of the Redmi Note 7 at the end of 2018, and today the company officially announced it. The new product will come on store shelves under the brand name Redmi and under the model name Note 7.
The Redmi will operate as an independent brand focusing on e-commerce and cost-effective low-cost devices, leaving Xiaomi to focus on mid-to high-end phones and physical retail.
So the Note 7 will have a new logo on the back that says "Redmi by Xiaomi."
According to The Verge, the phone will have on its back a fingerprint detector and dual cameras. One of them will use the very famous 48 megapixel image sensor and an f1.8 lens, while the other will be 5 megapixel and will be used for depth information.
The Redmi Note 7 will also feature a 6.3-inch 19.5: 9 1080p display, Snapdragon 660 processor, 13-megapixel front-facing selfie camera, 4,000mAh battery, USB-C charging and headphone jack.
The Redmi Note 7 will start at just 999 yuan (about $ 150/130 euros) for a model with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, reaching 1399 yuan (~ $ 200/180 euros) for 6GB / 64GB.
The Redmi Note 7 will be available first in China, then it will have to make its way to India and then reach the other usual Xiaomi countries.
