The YotaPhone is an Android smartphone with a screen LCD on one side and one e-ink screen, on the other hand. It will be released on international markets before the end of the year.
Unlike traditional smartphones, its dual screen YotaPhone allows users to view it content them using the custom e-ink screen on the back. The company claims that this affects the overall battery life much more than using just an LCD screen.
The YotaPhone "wears" Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2, has a dual core processor at 1.7GHz, the front screen is 4,3 inches with 720 × 1280 pixels and the back is 4,3 inches 360 × 640 EPD.
Although already announced in Russia, YotaPhone will be launched on the international market in the first week of December, according to TNW.
